COVID-19 update

Needless to say, COVID-19 has directly impacted most aspects of our everyday lives.  The impact on the travel industry was immediate and continues to be overwhelming. 

 

The effect on Perkiomen Tours is unprecedented with the ever-increasing social restrictions and closures of schools and non-essential businesses across the country.  So far, unlike cruise companies, airlines and mass transit, there has been no direct relief specified for the motorcoach industry. 

 

In addition to cancelling all tours through the last half of March, it was also necessary to cancel all April tours and we expect this could continue for some time. We are doing our best to gauge government guidelines and their effect on our scheduled tours.

 

We will continue to notify customers when it is necessary to cancel future tours. Please assume that your tour will travel unless we contact you.

 

We are working to reschedule as many of the cancelled tours as possible for the latter part of the year. Unfortunately, no one knows when the need for distancing will end and life will return to some sense of normalcy. Rest assured, when it does, we will be ready with as many travel opportunities as possible! In the meantime, please continue to peruse our tour program and make reservations on future tours.

 

Our company is not considered essential by Governor Wolf so our office is closed until that changes. We do have limited staff working remotely for a few hours each day, but we are not functioning fully.

  • It is best to email general questions to webrequests@perkiomentours.com   

  • Voicemail messages are being monitored and returned in order of priority. If you do not hear back from us right away, please be patient. There is no need to leave multiple messages.

  • Please continue to make payments toward future tours according to the deadlines specified on your tour confirmation. It’s important to continue meeting vendor payment deadlines to secure reservations. Don’t worry…if we need to cancel a tour you will receive a refund.
