Baseball Road Trip

Day 1

Sit back and relax as we travel to Williamsport, PA for a self-guided visit to the World of Little League Museum. The mission of this museum is to educate people about the history, service, goals, and initiatives of Little League® Baseball and Softball. After lunch on our own, we will continue to Canton, OH, the location of our lodging for this evening. We will stop for dinner on our own enroute.

Day 2

After breakfast we will head to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for a self-guided visit. This exhilarating museum and attraction pays tribute to the talents and triumphs of pro football's greatest legends. Chronicled within the walls of the Hall of Fame are the stories and circumstances of play that bring to life words such as courage, dedication, vision, fair play, integrity, and excellence. Lunch will be on our own during our time at the Hall of Fame. After, we will depart for Cincinnati, the location of our lodging for this evening. Tonight we will see the Philadelphia Phillies at the Cincinnati Reds at The Great American Ballpark. Dinner will be on our own at the ballpark.

Day 3

This morning, following breakfast, we will make our way to Chicago, IL. We'll catch the afternoon game between the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. After the game, we will depart for the Doubletree Hotel in Alsip, IL. Dinner will be on our own near the hotel.

Day 4

Following breakfast at the hotel we will depart for Dyersville, IA with a rest and lunch stop enroute. Upon arrival, we will have a guided tour of the Field of Dreams Movie Site including a visit with the ghost players, a tour of the farmhouse, and some free time for exploring and shopping. Back in town, we will enjoy a self-guided visit to the "If You Build It" Exhibit. We'll enjoy dinner on our own downtown before we check-in to our Dyersville lodging.

Day 5

After a continental breakfast we will start our journey back to Chicago, IL. A lunch stop will be made enroute. This afternoon's game is Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. After the game, we will make our way to the Doubletree Hotel in Alsip, IL. Dinner will be on our own near the hotel.

Day 6

This morning after breakfast, we will depart for Cleveland, OH. Stops for rest and lunch will be made along the way. After checking-in to our lodging, we will enjoy one last major league baseball game, the Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. Dinner will be on our own at the ballpark.

Day 7

After breakfast we travel home. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, arrival home will be early evening.

Our intention is to run each tour as originally planned and published. However, if deemed necessary to do so, Perkiomen Tours reserves the right to make changes to tour components, schedules or itineraries without prior notification.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.

To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
