Lighthouses dot the coastline and there’s always an authentic lobster bake going on somewhere. This special itinerary includes Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and cruising on the St. Lawrence River.

Day 1

We will arrive in Cape Liberty, NJ by early afternoon to board our cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas.

Today is a full day at sea. Enjoy the Spa or Fitness Center, 3 pools including the Solarium (an adult's only retreat), or be adventurous and try ice skating! Don't forget the dazzling bars and lounges, world-class dining, Casino Royale and the Broadway-style shows!

Day 3

Bar Harbor, Maine is our port of call today. A wealthy summer playground during the Gilded Age, Mount Desert Island welcomes visitors to its rugged beauty and serene parkland. The village of Bar Harbor offers shops, galleries, restaurants and historic architecture.

Day 4

Portland's heart is the lively Old Port of narrow cobblestone streets and restored brick warehouses filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The district has a working waterfront where fishermen haul in the day's catch.

Day 5

Although famous for the Reversing Rapids at the Bay of Fundy, Saint John is also home to splendid Victorian architecture, quaint shops and a vibrant arts scene. It is also a gateway to New Brunswick's scenic villages and seascapes.

Day 6

Halifax was long defined by naval operations. The 18th Century Citadel still stands guard, but today overlooks a thriving city whose restored waterfront features historic architecture, shops, museums, restaurants and more.

Today will be a full day of cruising. Enjoy all the Adventure has to offer.

Day 8

Charlottetown is the capital of Canada's Prince Edward Island. It's on the southern coast of the province. The Province House National Historic Site hosted the Charlottetown Conference of 1864, spurring the country's birth. Victoria Row has shops, restaurants and the Confederation Centre of the Arts, with its musical based on "Anne of Green Gables." Nearby is the Gothic Revival St. Dunstan's Basilica.

Today will be a full day of cruising. Enjoy all the Adventure has to offer and the scenic beauty of the Saint Lawrence River.

Day 10

This morning we arrive in Québec City, which sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district's cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques. Enjoy a full day and overnight on the ship in Quebec City.

After breakfast we will disembark. The Perkiomen Motorcoach will be waiting to transport you back to Pennsylvania.

A passport is required for ALL travel between the U.S. and Canada.
If you are bringing children on the tour other than your own, customs is requiring that you have a registered letter of approval from their parents.

Our intention is to run each tour as originally planned and published. However, if deemed necessary to do so, Perkiomen Tours reserves the right to make changes to tour components, schedules or itineraries without prior notification.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but can not be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Daily seat rotation is practiced on most multi-day tours. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort.

Perkiomen Tours recommends that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance for your tour. Travel Insurance is purchased directly by you from a third-party of your choice. One option is Travel Safe Insurance. You can purchase insurance directly from Travel Safe through our website. www.perkiomentours.com.

Pier transfers are additional. Prices subject to change based on availability. Cruise lines do reserve the right to pass along changes or increases, etc. including fuel surcharges as deemed necessary and without prior notification. If this should occur, it may result in additional charges to each traveler even after reservations have been made.

 

Payment Schedule:

A deposit of $500.00 per person is due at time of booking in order to confirm a seat on this tour.

Final payment is due June 24, 2019.

Cancellation\Interruption Protection:

Because of cancellation penalties incurred, especially on cruises and air tours (both domestic and international), Perkiomen Tours strongly recommends the purchase of cancellation\interruption insurance. We do assist our travelers who might wish to purchase travel protection by providing insurance information\brochures. Of course, you are free to select other insurance sources if you choose to do so. Any insurance coverage purchased is an agreement between the traveler and the insurance company. All conditions of coverage(s) are dependent upon the specific policy of your selected insurance company. Please be aware of any eligibility requirements for coverage pertaining to pre-existing conditions prior to paying your trip deposit.

 

Cancellation coverage is available when you purchase the Royal Caribbean Travel Protection Program.  The cost of the travel protection varies based on cost of cruise fare.  If you would like to add Royal Caribbean Travel Protection to your reservation, please advise your reservationist.

 

Cancellation Policy (if not buying Trip Insurance):

89-57 Days Prior          $500.00 per person non-refundable

56-29 Days Prior          50% per person non-refundable

28 Days or less            100% per person non-refundable

 

Pre-Paid Gratuities:

Royal Caribbean will add a daily gratuity to each guest’s onboard account.  The gratuities will be shared by the Dining Services Staff, Stateroom Attendants and other Housekeeping Services Personnel.  You may prepay gratuities prior to boarding.  Guests who prepay gratuities will not have the automatic daily gratuity added to their account.  If you would like to add prepaid gratuities to your reservation, please advise your reservationist. 

 

Proof of Citizenship:

A current passport valid for at least six months beyond the return date of this tour is required. Travelers will be responsible to secure their own passport. Passport forms are available from your local post office or any passport office.
