We depart towards our first stop, The Historic Houses of Odessa. Here we will take a guided stroll through tree lined streets to tour beautifully restored 18th and 19th century houses. Wander through picturesque gardens and surrounding landscape. We will dine at the historic Cantwell's Tavern, welcoming guests just as it did nearly 200 years ago. We will then have a guided tour of Historic New Castle, located on the Delaware River. Drive along cobblestone streets dating from the Colonial era as you enjoy your tour of this historic town. We will then check-in to our hotel accommodations and get ready for a four-star dining experience at The Hotel DuPont. With its opulent style and world-class cuisine, you will have an unforgettable dinner buffet in the famous Green Room, the Hotel DuPont's signature restaurant.

Day 2

After a wonderful breakfast at our hotel, we will be welcomed at the Johnson Victrola Museum. This unique museum highlights the life and achievements of Delaware's native son, Eldridge Reeves Johnson, founder of the Victor Talking Machine Company and a pioneer in the development of the sound-recording industry. Next is a guided tour of John Dickinson Plantation. Here we will tour the home of one of the founding fathers of the United States and signer of the U.S. Constitution. Take a trip into the fascinating world of 18th Century America at this historic landmark. Our day then brings us to Dover International Speedway for a behind the scenes track tour at the "Monster Mile". With its 24-degree turns, slick concrete surface and intimidating reputation Dover Speedway has more than earned its nickname of the "Monster Mile"! Get an up-close view of the track and pit road, visit the Infield Media Center, the Monster Bridge, the Nascar Cup Series garage and The Monster Monument in Victory Plaza. After we enjoy our included lunch, you will head for an exciting evening of gaming entertainment at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. Dinner will be included at the casino.

Located along the banks of the Brandywine, Hagley is the ancestral home and gardens of the Du Pont family. Experience the unfolding history of American business, technology, and innovation, and its impact on the world today. We will then head to the Wilmington Riverboat Queen where you will get to dine on the water with a lovely Sunday Brunch Cruise. Enjoy outstanding cuisine, professional and friendly crew, beautiful scenery and comfortable ambiance aboard this wonderful scenic riverboat cruise. We then head for home, but not before one final stop at beautiful Longwood Gardens. Tour one of the world's great gardens, where garden design, horticulture and the arts inspire you! What a wonderful way to wrap up your amazing vacation to our First State of Delaware! Our arrival home is early this evening.
