Day 1

This morning we depart for our touring on the south and west side of Seneca Lake. Our first stop will be Sunset View Creamery for a tour of the farm, facility, and four-legged family members. Their artisan milk cheese is the result of five generations of dedicated family dairy farming on the same 348-acre farm that has been in the Hoffman family since 1905. We will then travel a short distance to Watkins Glen, where we will enjoy lunch at Seneca Harbor Station. Following lunch, we will visit Watkins Glen State Park, the most famous of the Finger Lakes State Parks, with a reputation for leaving visitors spellbound. Within two miles, the glen's stream descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, generating 19 waterfalls along its course. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade while rim trails overlook the gorge. Our lodging for the next three evenings will be located in Geneva, on the northern side of Seneca Lake. Dinner will be at your leisure this evening.

Day 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a day of touring around Keuka Lake. Our first stop will be a visit to the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, among the most notable aviation museums in the United States due to its focus on the accomplishments of Glenn H. Curtiss, aviation pioneer and early motorcycle manufacturer. The museum includes a sizeable collection of early aircraft and motorcycles, which illustrate the innovative genius of Glenn Curtiss. The centerpiece of the motorcycle collection is an exact reproduction of the famous 8-cylinder motorcycle which earned Curtiss the title of "Fastest Man on Earth" in 1907 with a land-speed record of 136.4 mph. We will enjoy free time for lunch on your own at Bully Hill Winery, and a tasting. Your BHV Tasting All Star will educate you in every step of properly sampling Bully Hill wine. Later we will visit the Finger Lakes Welcome Center, featuring a Taste NY Market, New York made beer, wine, and cider. Outside you can take photos of Seneca Lake and the famed "I Love New York" sign. We will then return to the hotel to freshen up for this evening's dinner.

Day 3

Today, after breakfast we will head west to Kettle Ridge Farm. Since 2010 they have been producing the purest New York State maple syrup and finest local honey. Their maple syrup is available in several sizes and all grades. Their local wildflower honey is made by the honey bees in their apiary. Today we will tour their farm and enjoy some sweet samples! Antique Wireless Museum is our next stop. With its world-class collection of artifacts, ephemera, and enthusiastic museum historians, this museum offers visitors the opportunity to drop back in time to explore and discover the history of the technologies we use today in our everyday lives. Consider how the ability to communicate instantly around the world has become so vital and often expected in present times. Our visit to the museum will demonstrate just how far we have come in our quest for connection. Lunch will be on your own in downtown Canandaigua, with a lake cruise to follow. The Canandaigua Lady is a 19th century steamboat replica and an authentic double-decker paddle wheeler operating on Canandaigua Lake. Enjoy cruising into relaxation while listening to a captivating narration on the sixty-five ton Mississippi style paddle wheel boat. After a bit of free time for shopping on Main Street we will visit New York Kitchen, a not-for-profit organization, with a passion to guide their guests on a journey to explore New York's dynamic agriculture, craft beverage, and culinary arts. This evening we will enjoy a 3-course meal with 2 Chef demonstrations.

Day 4

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will check-out and head south. We will visit Lively Run Goat Dairy Farm & Creamery, located between Seneca & Cayuga Lakes. One of the longest operating commercial goat dairies in the country, the entire team at Lively Run Dairy works to continue the mission of crafting delectable artisan cheese inspired by the historic Finger Lakes food culture. After our tour we will head to Taughannock Falls State Park and its namesake waterfall, one of the outstanding natural attractions of the northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. Gorge and rim trails offer spectacular views from above the falls and from below at the end of the gorge trail. A stop for lunch on your own and a view of Ithaca Falls will conclude our Finger Lakes Touring. Arrival home is scheduled for later this evening.
