Day 1

Our travels south will take us through the Virginia countryside and the spectacular Blue Ridge Mountains. There will be stops for rest and lunch before reaching Wytheville, VA, the location of our overnight accommodation. Dinner this evening will be on our own.

Day 2

Following breakfast, we will continue travelling south with free time and shopping at the Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace, a community space featuring local crafts, music and culture. After a stop for lunch on our own, we will arrive in Pigeon Forge, TN, where we will check in to our lodging for the next three evenings. Dinner this evening is a four-course feast and spectacular Christmas Show at the Dolly Parton's Stampede.

Day 3

After breakfast we depart our hotel for Gatlinburg and a guided tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, American's most visited national park. This afternoon will begin with free time for lunch and shopping on our own in Downtown Gatlinburg before our next stop at Sugarlands Distilling Company. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the stillhouse, hear the story of Moonshining in East Tennessee and end with a sippin' post sampling experience. Tonight, dinner will be included at a local restaurant before we are serenaded with a symphony of sights and sounds during the two-hour Array Variety Show Christmas extravaganza.

Day 4

This morning after breakfast will begin with a self-guided tour of the Titanic Museum. Experience what it was like to walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase of the Titanic, surrounded by more than 400 artifacts from the ship and its passengers. A stop will be made afterwards at the Titanic Frozen Custard and Chocolate Shop, which serves similar custards and chocolates to what the White Star Line made available to Titanic passengers. Afterwards we will return to Pigeon Forge for free time and lunch on our own at The Island. Over 23 acres of shops, restaurants and attractions, including "The Wheel", an over 200-foot tall Ferris Wheel with glass gondolas offering a birds-eye view of the smokies. Our last stop of the day will be "Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival" at the Dollywood Theme Park, an eight-time award winner of American's Best Christmas event. Dinner vouchers will be included for use during our time at the park.

Day 5

Breakfast will be at our hotel before check-out and one last shopping opportunity in Pigeon Forge, a Christmas themed store aptly named The Christmas Place. Our next stop will be a self-guided visit to Bush's Visitor Center. Learn the history of the company and the beans as we explore the museum, general store, and have lunch on our own at the Bush's Family Café. Continuing north, we will visit the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, VA. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute which tells the story of the historic 1927 Bristol Sessions, some of the earliest recorded country music in America. Dinner this evening will be on our own after checking in to our lodgings.

Day 6

Following breakfast, we will head home. With stops for rest & lunch enroute, our arrival is scheduled for early evening.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
