DDay 2
After breakfast, we'll depart for a guided shopping tour, stopping at four shops in Dickens Victorian Village in downtown Cambridge, OH. Next, we'll enjoy an included lunch and guided tour at Reeves Victorian Home and Carriage House Museum. You'll feel the holiday spirit as you see each of the 17 rooms of the mansion that are beautifully decorated for the season. Afterwards will be a visit to Lamp & Light Candle, a family-owned candle & gift shop where Amish sisters create beautiful carved candles on-site. After all of the Christmas-themed fun, we'll check-in to our hotel for the next two evenings and enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant. Our day will end with a show at the Amish Country Theater.
B, L, DDay 3
Following breakfast we will depart our hotel with a local guide for a full day of guided shopping. Our first stop will be at Coblentz Leather Shop, followed by Hershberger's Farm and Bakery (the area's largest Amish-owned bakery and the farm shop), Walnut Creek Cheese, the Walnut Creek Marketplace, and Coblentz Chocolates. Lunch will be on your own at one of the shopping stops. After time to rest and freshen up at the hotel, we'll depart for dinner at a local restaurant followed by an evening show at the Ohio Star Theater.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we will check-out and head to the Ernest Warther Museum for a guided tour. During the guided tour you'll see the Warther Family Home, Mooney's Workshop where you'll view the priceless steam-engine woodcarvings created by Mooney Warther, and The Button House where Mrs. Warther's button collection of over 73,000 buttons is arranged in various quilt and geometric patterns. Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.
Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
