The fort sits high on a bluff above the harbor and dates from 1780. Following our self-guided tour of the fort, we will check-in at the Lake View Hotel, our lodging for the night. The hotel is conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Mackinac Island and is brimming with Victorian charm, 19th-century architecture, and modern amenities. The vibe of the hotel is casual and carefree, boasting an island-style atmosphere. It is just steps from the island's best entertainment, shopping, and dining. You are free to enjoy the island at your leisure tonight.

Day 5

Breakfast will be on our own and at our leisure this morning. Today is a free day for you to enjoy the views from the porch of the hotel, stroll the shops of Market Street, or walk some of the island's endless nature trails.
