Day 1
Sit back and relax as we travel to Lincoln, NH, the location of tonight's lodging. With rest and lunch stops enroute, we will arrive at Indian Head Resort by late afternoon. This resort is located in New Hampshire's White Mountain Region and features rustic rooms with breathtaking views of the mountains. Dinner will be included.
DDay 2
This morning, after breakfast, we will travel north on the Kancamagus Scenic Highway for a 34-mile drive through the White Mountain National Forest. In North Conway Village we will board the Conway Valley Train for an 11-mile rural train ride. A boxed lunch will be included on our train ride. Our home for the next two evenings will be The Rangeley Inn*. You will have the chance to relax and enjoy the Inn's amenities after the included dinner.

Day 3
Following breakfast, we will depart with our guide for Coos Canyon with a stop at the "Height of the Land" scenic lookout. Upon arrival we will visit a mineral store and join a local prospector who will show us how to pan for gold. Lunch is included today. This afternoon we will have a self-guided visit of the Outdoor Sporting Museum followed by a visit to the Maine Forestry Museum. We will return to The Rangeley Inn for dinner. This evening we will go moosin' just before dusk to see how many of these creatures we can spot.
B, L, DDay 4
Sadly we must leave Rangeley behind as we travel to our final evening in Portland. En route we will visit the Norlands Living History Center in Livermore, ME. Here we'll learn the story of Maine's most famous family, the Washburns, through a mixture of dramatic and humorous activites. An old-fashioned country meal will be included before our next attraction, a scenic lighthouse cruise through the busy harbor and innermost islands of Casco Bay. Our lodging this evening will be in South Portland. Dinner will be on your own.
B, LDay 5
After breakfast we'll begin our homeward journey. Enjoy the sights as we travel home reflecting on happy memories of Maine's wilderness. With stops for rest & lunch, we'll arrive by early evening.
