The "Grand Strand" is comprised of a sixty-mile stretch of beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. At its center is Myrtle Beach. This area has long been a popular vacation spot. In the 1990s, the city went through a growth spurt that added a lot of new attractions, which is what draws 11 million visitors to the area each year. We will be staying at Beach Cove Resort for 5 nights. You can enjoy five days of free time or purchase daily entertainment and/or meals at an additional cost.

You are welcome to bring beach chairs & umbrellas from home. Please note that you would be responsible for carrying these items to and from your hotel room.
Beach chairs & umbrellas can also be rented through Beach Services (843-280-5684) during the hours of 9 AM - 5 PM.
Beach Cove Resort does not provide pool/beach towels. Please pack accordingly.
Optional Activities
Optional activities need to be booked at the time of reservation to ensure availability. Optional activities cannot be added after the final payment due date or during the trip because they are arranged and pre-paid as a group order. The schedule of optional activities is subject to availability. We reserve the right to make revisions based on show schedules, etc.
Day 1
Today we depart for Myrtle Beach. With stops for rest and lunch, our arrival is scheduled for mid-evening. We will check-in to our oceanfront accommodations at the Beach Cove Resort for the next five nights. You will be free to enjoy the next five days at your leisure or take part in any of the optional activities at an additional cost.
Day 2
Condos and Suites at the Beach Cove Resort are equipped with a kitchen with utensils & cookware. The driver will provide transportation to a local Walmart for you to stock up on items you may want or need for your stay.

Optional Morning Activity
Visit Brookgreen Gardens. Founded in 1931 on the site of four colonial rice plantations, this National Historic Landmark consists of 1200 sculptures showcased throughout breathtaking gardens.
Optional Evening Activity
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show. Join the most famous pirate, Blackbeard and his quartermaster, Calico Jack as they lead the Crimson and Sapphire crews in battle on land, deck, and water.
Day 3
Enjoy the Myrtle Beach area at your leisure or participate in today's optional activities. There are two optional afternoon activities today, unfortunately, due to timing, it is not possible to participate in both afternoon activities.

Lunch cruise with narration and entertainment aboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat.
Optional Afternoon Activity #2 - no additional charge
Free time for lunch & browsing at Broadway at the Beach.
Optional Evening Activity
Dinner at a local restaurant followed by The Carolina Opry Show at the Carolina Opry Theater featuring two hours of high-energy music, comedy, and dance.

Enjoy the Myrtle Beach area at your leisure or participate in today's optional activities.
Optional Activity
Hopsewee Plantation and free time in Georgetown.
Hopsewee Plantation is one of the oldest historic preservations open to the public in the United States. This low-country rice plantation has been preserved since its construction between 1735 and 1740 and is graced with ancient moss-hung live oaks. A Traditional Southern Tea will be included.
Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on your own along Front Street - the Harborwalk in Historic Georgetown. You may want to tour the Rice Museum and/or the Kaminski House (admission not included).
Optional Evening Activity
Time Warp Show at the Carolina Opry Theater featuring the best of music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, blended with multi-media screens, special effects, and elaborate costuming.

Enjoy the Myrtle Beach area at your leisure or participate in today's optional activities.
Optional Morning Activity
Saltwater Marsh Eco Tour at Murrells Inlet. Board the Saltwater Marsh Explorer and discover the amazing ecosystem alive in their marshes. The marine biologist will narrate about the variety of marine life you'll see. There is a beach walk along a barrier island that is not accessible by car. After the tour, you will have free time to enjoy lunch on your own at one of the local restaurants.
Optional Evening Activity
Dinner at a local restaurant followed by Iconic at the Alabama Theatre featuring memorable music, comedy, and widely recognized country music chartbusters, classic rock anthems, Broadway and Pop power ballads.
Day 6
This morning we will check-out and depart for home. With stops for rest and meals enroute, arrival home is scheduled for later this evening.

Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
