National Law Enforcement Museum

National Law Enforcement Museum

Feel what it's like to walk in the shoes of law enforcement. Set in the stunning, all new museum, hear the untold stories that shaped our nation as well as visit the memorial honoring federal, state and local law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, for the safety and protection of our nation and its people.

The National Law Enforcement Museum is dedicated to telling the story of American law enforcement by providing visitors a “walk in the shoes” experience. The Museum is working to expand and enrich the relationship shared by law enforcement and the community through educational journeys, immersive exhibitions and insightful programs.  Unlike many other memorials in Washington, DC, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is ever-changing: new names of fallen officers are added to the monument each spring, in conjunction with National Police Week.
