New Year's Eve in Boston

Day 1

Cruising in warmth and comfort through the beautiful countryside we will arrive in Boston, Massachusetts by late afternoon. Accommodations will be in downtown Boston followed by an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will embark with our local guide for a narrated, historic tour of Boston. Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States, offering a variety of landmarks, architecture, and history. We will pass by a collection of historic sites along the Freedom Trail, visit the city of Cambridge including Harvard University, and stop for a photo at the USS Constitution at the Charlestown Navy Yard.* Lunch will be on your own at Quincy Market. Afterward you will have free time in the city for shopping, sightseeing, and to see the preparations for Boston's New Year's Eve celebration. This evening will be the highlight of your tour! Board the Spirit of Boston for its signature New Year's Eve dinner cruise. It's a magical setting enhanced by dazzling city sights and harbor lights. It's an evening filled to the brim with wonderful cuisine, live music, and dancing under the canopy of stars. Ring in the New Year with a champagne toast and watch fireworks explode over the Boston Harbor.

*Valid Federal or State-Issued ID or passport is required to enter the Charleston Navy Yard.

Day 3

After a leisurely morning, we will check-out of our accommodations and head for home. With stops for lunch and rest en route, arrival home is scheduled for early evening.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.

To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
