Ocean Grove, a resort town on the Atlantic Ocean, is known for its quaint Victorian houses and the Great Auditorium, a huge wooden theater that hosts Sunday worship services and choral concerts. Backed by a long boardwalk, Ocean Grove Beach is popular with families. The charming town center is dotted with ice cream parlors, breakfast spots, and gift shops.

For Your Information

The beach is open from noon - 5:30 PM on Sunday.
A Daily Beach Tag costs approximately $12.00 (not included in the cost of the tour). Children 11 and under are admitted free and all minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Badges are required and can be purchased at the beach office at Ocean and Embury Avenues.
There are public bathrooms, public changing rooms, a public gazebo, and umbrellas and chairs can be rented on the beach.
The Ocean Grove Beach is a totally smoke-free/vape free zone.
Personal flotation devices, tubes, bubbles, “swimmies”, etc. may only be used in water depth no greater than the user’s waist. The presence of an accompanying adult does not eliminate this depth requirement.

Other Information

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
1. All alcoholic beverages (Neptune Twp. Ordinance).
2. Music - any use of electronic devices (radios, tape/cd players, amplifiers, etc.) unless played through headsets.
3. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, skates except between 3:00 AM and 9:00 AM (Neptune Twp. Ordinance).
4. Dogs on beach or boardwalk except service dogs. Water and shelter from sun must be provided for such dogs.
5. No tents or canopies permitted beyond 30 yards of the Boardwalk, only umbrellas with one central stanchion to support shade whether upright or a ninety-degree position.
6. Devices designed or used to shade infants, no larger than thirty-six inches wide by thirty-six inches deep are permitted for infant use only.
7. Open fires (NJ State Regulation). Charcoal/Propane cookers.
8. Digging holes in sand deeper than knees of the smallest participant, not to exceed 12" deep.
9. Burying persons below grade or in standing position.
10. Flying kites over beach or boardwalk.
11. Surfing at other than designated surfing area.
12. Motor vehicle on boardwalk or beach. (exception: emergency and beach support vehicles.)
13. Camping, sleeping overnight.
14. Disrobing or changing clothes.
15. Launching of any vessel not specifically permitted by these regulations. Lifeguard, Police and Emergency Management vessels are permitted at times.
16. Throwing of sand.
17. Fishing in bathing areas; use or presence of spear guns.
18. No trespassing on the dunes.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but can not be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with the driver at the time of boarding.
