Day 3

Today we will be in Falmouth, Jamaica, the chief town and capital of the parish of Trelawny in Jamaica. It is noted for being one of the Caribbean's best-preserved Georgian towns and flourished as a market centre and port for forty years at a time when Jamaica was the world's leading sugar producer. Today you can choose to explore Dunn's River Falls, Coyaba Gardens, Mystic Mountain or enjoy a Dolphin Encounter, just to name a few optional shore excursions. B, L, D - aboard ship

Another day at sea allows you explore the Crown Princess and all she has to offer. From Art Galleries to Auctions, Movies to Musical productions, take advantage of all the on board activities and entertainment or just relax poolside and soak in the sun…the choice is yours! B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 5

One of the more interesting cities on your itinerary steeped in history, this was the transit port for all the wealth Spain derived from South America. The famous "Old City" is comprised of 12 square blocks filled with attractions, boutiques and restaurants. Throughout Colombia, the Spanish Empire's influence in the New World is self-evident. Its fortress walls, quaint narrow streets, and balconied houses are all vivid reminders of Spain's hold on Cartagena and throughout the Caribbean and South America. This is the land of El Dorado and flamboyant adventurers in search of the ever-elusive gold. Cartagena's well-constructed fortifications defended its borders against seafaring pirates whose attacks lasted for more than 200 years. Today this modern and bustling city, seaport, and commercial center still boasts much of its original colonial architecture. Your journey here will provide you with a significant link to the region's grand past. Points of interest are Old City, Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, Cartagena's Cathedral and La Popa Monastery, just to name a few. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 6

Marvel at the stunning impossibility of the Panama Canal as your ship is lifted through the massive Gatun Locks into Gatun Lake, the source of the perpetual water supply necessary to operate the locks. Optional shore excursions will be offered today. Later in the day, the ship then retraces her route through the Gatun Locks to dock at Cristobal in the Caribbean. If you are on an optional shore excursion, your tour will return at this point. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 7

Costa Rica's Limon Province boasts pristine beaches, sprawling banana plantations and dense rainforest. These Caribbean lowlands are still sparsely populated--nearly a third of the province's population lives around Puerto Limon--and conservation efforts have led to growing eco-tourism. Limon Province offers other charms as well. Afro-Caribbean influences abound, from the lilting speech and reggae rhythms brought by Jamaican settlers to the colorful bungalows lining small fishing villages. Limon is a zesty little slice of heaven. Today you can choose from many different shore excursions to discover the beauty and uniqueness of Limon. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 8

Today on your full day at sea why not try one of the award-winning specialty restaurants and enjoy tantalizing specialties! You might also be interested in trying your luck at the Vegas-style Casino! There are so many activities and options for you to enjoy. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 9

When Columbus made his landfall in the Caymans in 1503, he found tortoises and sea turtles in such profusion that he promptly named the islands Las Tortugas. But the name that stuck for the islands was the Carib word "Caimanas." Fitting, since the caiman is a New World crocodilian and the islands were long the lair of pirates, buccaneers, and assorted freebooters. Despite their past, the Caymans are a Caribbean demi-paradise of white-sand beaches, coral gardens, and offshore waters harboring spectacular shipwrecks. Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman also boast the highest standard of living in the entire Caribbean. This union of natural beauty and cosmopolitan style makes Grand Cayman a spectacular port of call for today's adventurers. A few highlights which you may enjoy are the world-famous Cayman Turtle Center, Stingray City & Sandbar or Seven Mile Beach. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 10

This is our last chance to take in those precious moments at sea. Enjoy your last day taking advantage of all the amenities and activities aboard the Crown Princess. B, L, D - aboard ship

Day 11

After disembarking we head to the airport for our return flight to Philadelphia. B - aboard ship

Transportation Security Administration's Guidelines for Checking Luggage

Customers are urged to leave their checked luggage unlocked, which will avoid the potential need for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel to forcibly open bags that require further inspection. Plastic zip ties or cable ties may be used if desired.

Customers are asked to:

  • NOT pack food or beverages in checked bags

  • Pack footwear on top of other contents

  • Put personal belongings in clear plastic bags to reduce chances of TSA Screeners having to handle them

  • Spread out - NOT stack - books

  • Leave gifts unwrapped should screening require them to be opened

  • Put scissors, pocket knives and other sharp items in checked luggage

  • Put film in carry-on bag because screening equipment will damage undeveloped film

  • Avoid over packing your bag so that the screener will be able to easily reseal your bag if it is opened for inspection
