New England's fall foliage is legendary. Across the region, leaves turn from green to gold, scarlet, purple, and orange. You can look at all the pictures you want, but you will never truly experience what New Hampshire has to offer during the fall foliage season unless you come and experience it for yourself.

Day 1
Take in the beauty of New Hampshire in the fall as we travel to our accommodations in Plymouth, NH. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.
Day 2
Following breakfast we'll meet our local guide and head to the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Here, a Naturalist will present a wildlife program about native New Hampshire animals, their habitats, where they live, and how they survive. We will then head to the Mount Washington Hotel, which sits at the base of Mount Washington. Here we'll have a guided tour of the hotel followed by lunch in the main dining room. After lunch, we will visit The Basin. This granite "pothole" is 20 feet in diameter at the base of a waterfall. It is believed to have been eroded 15,000 years ago when the North American ice sheet was melting and has been smoothed by small stones and sand whirled around by the Pemigewasset River. Next, we'll visit Fadden's General Store & Maple Sugarhouse. Learn how maple syrup was made in the past and how it is made today. This sugarhouse won Best Maple Syrup in North America! Our last stop will be a visit to Franconia Notch Visitor's Center followed by an included dinner.
Day 2 Dinner Options
1. Grilled Steak Tips topped with roasted peppers and onions
2. Atlantic Salmon - pesto-crusted with balsamic tomatoes
All entrees include a garden salad, rolls, roasted red potatoes, and Cheesecake Trifle.

Day 3
After breakfast we will be met by a local New Hampshire guide for a day of touring. Our first stop will be a narrated cruise aboard the M/S Mount Washington on Lake Winnipesauke from Weirs Beach to Wolfeboro. Once in Wolfeboro, we'll have free time for shopping and lunch on our own in this charming village on the lake. Next, we will enjoy a self-guided tour of Castle in the Clouds. This famous mansion captures the natural splendor of New Hampshire's Ossipee Mountains, looking down at Lake Winnipesaukee. This evening we will have dinner in the dining car of a train as we ride the rails along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee.
