Day 1
Touring southward brings us to our lodging in Burlington, NC. Stops for meals & rest will be made along the way.
Day 2
After breakfast we will head to Winston-Salem to visit Reynolda. The 170-acre historic estate comprises Reynolda House Museum of American Art, Reynolda Gardens, and Reynolda Village shops and Restaurants. Discover the Museum's renowned American art collection and featured exhibitions, stroll the gardens and wooded trails, and enjoy shopping and lunch on own in the village. Afterwards we depart for our lodging for the next two evenings at the Switzerland Inn. Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the inn is unsurpassed for its spectacular view! Dinner will be included at the inn.
B, DDay 3
Following breakfast at the inn we will explore northward along the Blue Ridge Parkway with stops at attractions such as the Emerald Village Minerals Museum and Grandfather Mountain (weather permitting). Enjoy the marvelous views as we travel this ribbon of road. Lunch will be on our own at Grandfather Mountain. Dinner will be included at the inn.
B, DDay 4
This morning after breakfast we will visit the magnificent Biltmore Mansion & Gardens. Surrounded by an estate of 8,000 acres, this huge mansion is fashioned after a French Renaissance Chateau with elaborate furnishings. Lunch will be on our own while at Biltmore. Continuing west we will travel through Great Smoky Mountains National Park to our lodging for the next two evenings in Pigeon Forge, TN. This evening we will enjoy dinner and a show at Pirates Voyage. Join the most famous pirate, Blackbeard, and his quartermaster, Calico Jack, as they lead the crew in a battle on land, on deck, and in the water. Be amazed by beautiful mermaids, tropical birds, stunning acrobatics and more as you enjoy a fabulous four-course feast.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast at the hotel, our day will be spent at Dollywood, the "entertainment capital of the Smokies". The combination of shows, family rides and Dolly Parton's upbeat music will make the day extra special. Lunch will be on our own during the free time at Dollywood. Dinner is at our leisure this evening either at Dollywood or at one of the restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. Perkiomen Tours will be providing shuttles this afternoon and evening between Dollywood and our hotel.
BDay 6
After breakfast we will check-out and depart for a guided tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, America's most visited national park. Our guide will share fascinating information about the rich history, diverse wildlife and stunning scenery of one of America's most beautiful and diverse natural landscapes. Our next stop is for lunch on our own at Bush's Baked Beans Visitor Center, where we can shop, eat, and take a self-guided tour of the museum. We will then depart the Smoky Mountain area and head to our lodging this evening in Wytheville, VA. Dinner is on our own.
BDay 7
After breakfast at the hotel we'll depart for home. With stops for rest & lunch enroute, arrival home is scheduled for early evening.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.
Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into consideration.
