Day 1

Our first stop will be at Kringle Candle Company, started by the son of the original founder of Yankee Candle. Then, we will arrive to a red carpet greeting at the Inn at Crumpin-Fox. Dinner and entertainment will be at the Inn this evening.


Day 2

This morning, after breakfast, we will depart for a tour of the Norman Rockwell Museum in Arlington, Vermont where Norman Rockwell lived for 14 years. The next stop will be to tour the beautifully maintained Lincoln Family Home, Hildene, where we will have a picnic lunch. This afternoon, we will spend some time at the Adams' Farm. This property was featured on Good Morning America and has been rated one of the top attractions in Vermont. This evening we will include dinner and entertainment at the Inn.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will depart for a day in Northern Vermont. The first attraction is the Von Trapp Family Lodge where we will have a tour and learn the rich history of the Trapp family. Then we will travel to Burlington, Vermont where we will peruse the Church Street Market and have lunch (on your own) at one of the local restaurants or pubs. Following lunch, we will board the Motor Vessel Ethan Allen III for a narrated tour of Lake Champlain. After the cruise, we will head off to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, home of the last stuffed bears made in the USA. Before heading back to the Inn, we will have dinner at the Fire and Ice Restaurant, named after a Robert Frost poem. Here, in addition to having dinner, you can spend some time enjoying nostalgic artifacts and while reliving a bit of the past.

Day 4

Following breakfast at the Inn and a group photo, we will depart for a visit to the Vermont Country Store and historic Weston village. Next, we will tour scenic and historic Plymouth Notch, home of Calvin Coolidge, followed by lunch. Learn about "Silent Cal" and the village that influenced him, including the working cheese factory. The last stop will be the Quechee Gorge scenic area, Vermont's little Grand Canyon. Dinner and entertainment this evening back at the Inn.

Day 5

Today, after breakfast, we will depart for home with fond memories of a vacation to remember and a wish to return in the near future.
