Thanksgiving in Vermont

Day 1

Sit back and enjoy the beautiful New England landscape as we travel to Quechee, VT. With stops for rest and lunch en route, we will arrive at The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm by late afternoon. Dinner will be included at the Inn this evening.

Please be aware: The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm does not have an elevator. Please make sure to let a reservationist know if a first-floor room is required.

Day 2

This morning, following breakfast, we will depart with our local guide for Billings Farm and Museum. During our visit, we will be led around the farm on a horse-drawn wagon ride and have time to browse the gift shop. Following free time and lunch on own in Woodstock, VT, we will visit the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. Here we will explore at our own pace exhibits on Vermont's nature and wildlife including raptors, owls, hawks, and falcons. We will then return to the Inn to freshen up before our included dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will meet our local guide and begin our driving tour of Killington Ski Area where we will see ski season in full action. We will make a stop at the Rocking Horse Country Store in Rutland enroute. Lunch will be included before we head back to the Inn. This evening we will have a full "Thanksgiving Dinner" with all the trimmings.

Day 4

Following breakfast, we must depart for home. With stops for rest and lunch en route, arrival home is scheduled for early evening.

Our intention is to run each tour as originally planned and published. However, if deemed necessary to do so, Perkiomen Tours reserves the right to make changes to tour components, schedules or itineraries without prior notification.

Tips for Perkiomen motorcoach drivers and tour escorts are not included in the price of this tour. We feel that these gratuities should be extended on an individual basis and dictated by the level of service provided.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
