Urbanna Oyster Festival

Day 1

This morning we will depart for Virginia. With stops for rest and lunch we will arrive at our first attraction, Jamestown Settlement, by late afternoon. We will have a guided tour of this 17th century living history museum to see what daily life was like in early Jamestown. We will then enjoy an included dinner before we check-in to our accommodations for the next 2 nights.

Day 2

After breakfast we will spend our day at the Urbanna Oyster Festival. Explore the many local crafters, restaurants, wineries, and breweries that have opened shop in downtown Urbanna. There will be many events during the day, from an oyster shucking competition, to live music, and oyster festival parade. Lunch and dinner will be on your own today. We will return to our hotel after the festival.

Day 3

Following breakfast, we check-out and depart for the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. Our guide will show us around the indoor galleries to see colonial period artifacts and outdoor areas to see the re-created Continental Army encampment. We will then depart for home. With stops for lunch and rest enroute, arrival home is scheduled for early evening.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
