Washington DC Free Time

Day 1

You have endless options of how you can spend your day in Washington, DC. At the Smithsonian Castle (1000 Jefferson Drive, SW) is the Smithsonian Visitor Center. Here you can consult with in-house volunteer experts about what to see and do to get the most out of your visit. If you wish to see the museums, most are walking distance from the Castle and all 19 museums offer free admission. Or you may decide to take a ride on the Old Town Trolley, or check out the International Spy Museum (on your own) at an additional cost. You definitely will not run out of things to explore during this trip to our nation's capital!

A rest stop will be made on the way to our destination today.
11:30 AM - 5:00 PM Free time at the Smithsonian
A dinner stop will be made on the way home. This meal is not included in the cost of the tour.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but can not be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with the driver at the time of boarding.

To fully participate in this tour may require extended amounts of walking. There may be steps, inclines, uneven surfaces or extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitation should take this into consideration.
