Day 1

Today we will begin our westward journey. With stops for rest and lunch enroute, we will arrive in Westlake, Ohio, the location of our lodging for this evening.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, we continue into Michigan. An attraction stop (attraction TBA) will bring us to Ludington, the location of our lodging.

Day 3

We'll ferry across Lake Michigan aboard the SS Badger to Manitowoc, Wisconsin where we will tour LaClare Creamery including the visitor center, goat barn, and pasture path. After an included dinner, we'll check-in to our overnight accommodations in Fond du Lac.

Day 4

Depart for Milwaukee for a guide-guided city tour and a visit to the Harley Davidson Museum. With an unrivaled collection of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and memorabilia on two floors of exhibits, a 20-acre, park-like campus, a trip to the H-D Museum is an experience that will last a lifetime. Dinner will be included at Motor Bar and Restaurant located at the museum.

Day 5

Dane, Wisconsin is home to the J. Henry & Sons farm where we will see how their hand-crafted bourbon is produced. Aged in new, charred oak barrels for a minimum of five years, their bourbon is a labor of love that's meant to be enjoyed. Next, we're off to Madison for a City & Food Tour. Dinner this evening will be on Lake Mendota as we enjoy miles of beautiful shoreline aboard the Betty Lou Cruise.

Day 6

We'll start off with a self-guided tour of Watkins Museum which offers views into the company's 150+ year history with displays of old products, advertising, photographs, and other memorabilia. Next, we'll visit Nelson's Cheese Factory and Stockholm Pie & General Store. This afternoon we visit the National Eagle Center located in Wabasha, Minnesota. It is home to several non-releasable Bald Eagles and a nesting place for hundreds more, encapsulating a world in which the iconic power and presence of eagles is known, respected, advocated for, and protected.

Day 7

Today we will visit Grandad Bluff. Approximately 590 feet above the surrounding land and 1,183 feet above sea level, it offers extraordinary views of LaCrosse. After, we will visit The Cannery. The Cannery's building, originally the home of The Prairie du Chien City Canning Company, was built in 1912 when local produce was canned in this 30,000 square foot building. Later we will have free time to explore Galena prior to checking-in to our evening's lodging.

Day 8

Sadly, we must depart the Midwest to begin our homeward journey. Tonight's lodging will be in Westlake, Ohio.

Retracing our first day's route will bring us back home by early evening.

Motorcoach seating is assigned at the time of reservation but cannot be guaranteed. Although we do our best to keep each traveler in the seat assigned at the time of reservation, there are times that it is necessary to move seat locations. Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
