Day 2

Following breakfast, our morning begins with a visit to the Submarine Force Library & Museum for a self-guided tour of the world's finest collection of submarine artifacts. We will then visit Mystic Seaport Museum. This area is more than just a museum, you can stroll through 17-acres of exhibits within the recreated seaport village. The buildings you see aren't replications, they're trade shops and businesses from the 1800s that were transported to Mystic Seaport Museum from locations around New England. The Seaport Village is made up of many bustling maritime trades. From shipsmiths and coopers to woodcarvers and riggers, discover how America's maritime past shaped life today. Upon arrival, you will receive a map and schedule of activities. You'll tour the museum independently and at your own pace. Lunch will be on your own during your free time here. Afterward we will visit Olde Mistick Village for shopping dinner on your own. You also have the option to visit New England's Mystic Aquarium, which offers unforgettable animal encounters, interactive experiences, and dynamic learning opportunities for people of all ages. This admission is an additional expense. There will be a planned shuttle schedule from Mystic Seaport Museum to Olde Mistick Village and from Olde Mistick Village to the hotel.
