Ozark Country Fall Foliage

Day 1

Driving southward through the lovely Shenandoah Valley, we will arrive at our lodging for the evening in Virginia. Stops for rest and lunch will be made enroute. Dinner is at our leisure this evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, the Tennessee country will provide the scenery enroute to Nashville, our home for the evening. A stop for lunch will be made enroute. Later, we will depart for the Nashville Nightlife Theater for dinner and entertainment.

Day 3

Following breakfast, our morning adventure begins with a visit to Loretta Lynn's Ranch where we will enjoy a guided tour of the Butcher Holler replica home, a guided tour of Loretta Lynn's plantation home, a self-guided tour of the museum, and a simulated coal mine tour. We'll stop for lunch on our own enroute to Graceland, home of Elvis Presley, where we will take a self-guided tour. Dinner is on our own this evening.

Day 4

We'll have breakfast at the hotel before beginning today's journey. Crossing the mighty Mississippi River and fertile flat lands, then winding through the Ozark Mountains full of beautiful foliage, we'll arrive at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, AR, where we will watch working artisans demonstrate, create, and sell handmade items and listen to the music, history, and customs of a still existing mountain folk. Lunch will be on our own while at Ozark Folk Center. Departing by mid-afternoon, we will travel to Eureka Springs, AR, where we will check-in to our lodging and enjoy an included dinner before attending the Great Passion Play, the live reenactment of the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.

Day 5

After breakfast we'll check-out of the hotel. We'll visit Christ of the Ozarks, a seven-story statue whose outspread arms, measuring 65 feet across, give the appearance of a mammoth cross. We'll then depart for Branson, MO for lunch on our own before attending The Duttons Matinee. This evening we'll enjoy the Hughes Music Show and an included dinner.

Day 6

Following breakfast, we will attend a show in Branson where we'll hear traditional Country Music at the Grand Country Square. There will be time for lunch on our own before we enjoy a guided tour of the Titanic Museum. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant, followed by a show at Presleys' Country Jubilee. This one-of-a-kind show has a mix of country, gospel, bluegrass, and comedy.

Day 7

After breakfast we will visit Silver Dollar City, a theme park modeled after an 1880's Ozark Pioneer settlement. The Harvest Festival will be occurring during our visit and will feature Craft Days where there will be over 100 craftsmen making and selling traditional crafts. You can also enjoy the rides, live entertainment, and other various fall themed fun during our time here. Lunch is on our own in Silver Dollar City. Tonight, we'll enjoy dinner and a show aboard the Showboat Branson Belle followed by the Pierce Arrow evening show.

Day 8

After breakfast we will visit the restored waterfront area of St. Louis, the Gateway to the West. We will enjoy a guided driving tour of St. Louis before continuing to our lodging in Mount Vernon, IL. Stops for rest and lunch will be made enroute. Dinner is at our leisure this evening.

Day 9

We'll have breakfast and check-out of the hotel before we experience the thrill of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, where we will have a guided tour (weather permitting). After an included lunch we'll visit the Derby Museum which houses three floors of derby displays and memorabilia. Our lodging this evening will be in Dublin, OH. Dinner will be at our leisure this evening.

Day 10

After breakfast we'll begin our journey home. With stops for lunch and rest, our arrival home will be early evening.

Please be sure to verify your final seat number(s) with your driver at the time of boarding. Historically, daily seat rotation was practiced on most multi-day tours. We have suspended this practice for a period of time. Seat rotation will be explained by your driver or tour escort if reinstated.
